About

Hello World! I am Sadie Miller-Daley, a licensed therapist in Tennessee with extensive credentials, including certification as an Approved Clinical Supervisor and certified EMDR therapist. My diverse experience spans various capacities throughout my career, including roles in foster care, adult inpatient mental health, psychiatric emergency rooms, and private practice. As a therapist, I adopt a trauma-informed perspective, understanding that attachment relationships and early childhood experiences are fundamental to our lives. I view each individual holistically, focusing on the whole person within their context, rather than merely their symptoms. My passion lies in supporting adults who have faced childhood trauma, as well as survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. I specialize in empowering parents and women through challenges like infertility, loss, and the intricacies of parenting, particularly in breaking generational patterns.

In practicing EMDR therapy primarily, I really enjoy helping clients particularly when they feel they have tried talk therapy, and are struggling either with cyclical patterns they feel stuck in, with overwhelming feelings or sensations, phobias/fears residual trauma symptoms and more. I have worked alongside talk therapists to do this work sometimes on a short term basis, or long term depending on client situation.

I would love to meet for an intake and figure out if this seems like the right treatment for you.

“Trauma is not what happens to you. Trauma is what happens inside you as a result of what happens to you” – Dr. Gabor Matè
